Lachlan believes the best outcomes combine creativity and strategic logic, he specialises in brand-driven visual solutions across all mediums
After entering the design scene in 2014 Lachlan has had a diverse career working on internationally recognised branding projects as well as boutique branding work across a variety of sectors and design disciplines. From 2017 to 2021, Lachlan worked at Design by Pidgeon/Pidgeon Ward, an internationally recognised multidisciplinary design studio, run by directors Alex Ward and David Pidgeon (AGI member) and from 2021 to 2022 worked at Clear Design a creatively ambitious studio run by Matthew McCarthy. At both of these studios Lachlan lead the design for national and international across the Asia-Pacific region.
Lachlan is an avid problem solver and values the power of creative solutions to provide business value. Passionate about design which is underpinned by a unifying idea, Lachlan seeks to create work which moves past surface level aesthetic and has a focus on effective communication.
In 2022, Lachlan made the move to work in Toronto, Canada. Since moving Lachlan has gained valuable experience working at Bruce Mau Studio. An ambitiously creative studio working on internationally recognised brands with a talented team. Lachlan has additionally gained Canadian experience working at Puncture Design, a culture creating brand studio. Here, Lachlan has worked on exciting projects with a focus in the Arts and Culture sector.
Lachlan holds an honours degree in Communication Design from Swinburne University of Technology and has previously held council positions in design organisations with the hope to improve and help develop the design community.
